375 DAYS - 365 PHOTOS - Photo 139, taken October 20, 2008, Morrison Peak, California.
On the edge of the Sierra Nevada, Morrison Peak rises high out of the landscape, directly above Convict Lake. From a far, the climb to the summit of this peak looks a little intimidating, however, the reality is not nearly as steep or difficult as it looks. Beyond this peak begins the John Muir Wilderness Area which eventually leads to Yosemite National Park.
