The first carbon free, fully-electric Formula 1 racing championship was held in Beijing yesterday. Fun to shoot, but what I really learned was how much walking auto reporters have to do … Quick New video up from Beijing with help from @morethansarah http://nyti.ms/1q1PEsN
This took far too much effort strictly for the purpose of satisfying my curiosity. However, next time someone asks me if I have a 5k RAW 10,000 photo timelapse of a plant coming back to life, at least I can say “yes.”
Very excited to add a @millertripods Air to my growing collection of their tripods. This might just be the perfect option for run and gun C100 and rigged DSLRs. Lightweight, versatile and a little less visually threatening compared to my Compass 20 in sensitive situations. Weight drops to 4.5 kg vs 7.4 kg (Compass 20). Very good for flying purposes and for solo operators. The head’s panning and tilting abilities seem much more solid and fluid compared to my Sachtler Ace. Excited to take it into the field.
